Short description

UniTrack (from version 0.5) provides:
 1. transmit (as AX.25 WX APRS frame) of the data from PIC WX full weather station, without need of any external modem.
 2. transmit decoded GPS/NMEA183 position data (as AX.25 MIC-E APRS frame). This function is the same as TiniTrak I offers. (Only coordinates, direction and speed.) It can use two parametters sets stored in EEPROM. It does not implements "smart beaconing" feature.

Please read UNITR007en.zip which gives You much more information about this module. Basic functions are set by jumpers, other values are stored in processor's EEPROM and You are able to change them from Your PC.

When powered up (after succesfull initialization) You should see 3 flashes of Yellow (DCD) and green (GPS) LEDs and one beacon is transmitted. If this does not occur processor does not working properly and You should check if processor is programmed right and EEPROM contains valid data.

 
Configuration

For download EEPROM contents and upload back into processor's EEPROM use of Piceerw program is recomended (for Windows platform). full installation 1.4MB; exe only, needs ocx libraries (36kB)).
Or (the old good MS-DOS) program PIC_EEE originaly written by OK1FMF for HP200LX. But it works under Windows too.
UniTrack has to be in WX mode to communicate with this configuration software. Only in this mode UniTrack communicates using 9k6, 8N1. (In Tiny more - GPS tracking UniTrack communicates using 4k8, 8N1)

There is a program UNITRFCF for maintenance of the file containing UniTrack configuration (processor's EEPROM).
